We just revamped out Homepage with some new features! We have cleaned up the page a bit and added some new things, and took away a few things that were not needed. Some of these changes are being made site-wide, such as these:
* Links at the top of the page light up as you run your mouse over them.
* The category names are bigger.
* The footer of the site is more informative.
The homepage now includes the following changes:
* The New Releases box is bigger, and not all cramped in the middle of the the page.
* The game of the week is more noticable.
* The Top 10 Games are listed closer to the top of the page, so you can find your favorite games quicker!
* We added "Recommended Games" which you should try out :)
* The "10 Newest Games" list was removed from the side. The 4 newest games are listed at the top, and other new games will be listed elseware on the front page.
We hope you enjoy the changes. We look forward to upgrading more of the site as time goes on to make your experience at Thunder Games even better!

We are very excited to announce a New Game coming soon to Thunder Games, called Mahjongg Dimensions! Take the classic tile matching game and turn it into a spinning block of 3D puzzling! Race against the clock by matching symbols on all sides of the cube to drill down to the center – the faster you go, the more points you get!
The game will be released on Friday, August 12. We will be retiring Mahjong Dynasty when we release Mahjongg Dimensions. We will be keeping Shanghai Mahjongg, and Mah-Jomino in the game lineup.
The 2nd half of the Comments & Ratings System has been completed. This update patched any glitches with the system. Stay tuned for another upgrade within a few weeks which will make it so that you can submit a comment without it refreshing the page.
The site was only down for about 20 minutes for this upgrade.
We just made an update to the Comments & Ratings system used on Arcade Thunder. This is only part one of the update. The 2nd part of the update will be added within the next day or two. Expect about an hour downtime for the 2nd update, just like the first part that was just completed.
There were some new features included in this first update. You can now give a Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down to each comment. Also included is a "Report Comment" button next to each comment. If you see an offensive comment, please report it to us so that we can remove it ASAP.
The 2nd part of the update contains a few tiny bug fixes. As mentioned before there will be a short downtime while the update is being performed.
There was a short site outage this evening around 10:30PM Eastern Time. The site was only down for about a half hour. Everything is back up, and you should be able to play all your favorite games now :)
Addiction Solitaire has been fixed... sort of. Unfortunately I cannot find a working Addiction Solitaire game like the one we had. That version of the game is built to have high score boards, which we do not support here. We have added a different version of the game. This version is much more boring looking, but it is basically the same game. We will continue to look for a better version of this game, and we promise that we have more fun card games coming version soon. Play Addiction Solitaire!
