So far, this week has been dedicated to upgrading more of our game pages to the updated page format. It's a slow process, but we're getting closer and closer to finishing them. We've completed 10 more pages so far this week, and our goal is to complete another 10-20 before the week is over. We've been working on getting our most popular games completed first, and then we'll work on our less popular games. I'm sure you're all just as ready as we are to finally be done with this site upgrade! After all of this is said and done, we'll be able to move on to bigger and better things for the site!
In the meantime, look for *hopefully* some new games on Thursday or Friday this week.
Stay tuned to our Facebook Page for the latest updates on the game page upgrades. During page upgrades, those games can be unavailable. We always give notice as to when we're starting and finishing the upgrades on each game.

We just released two new Daily games - Word Search Daily and Crossword Daily
Seek and Find words in the puzzle on Word Search, and challenge yourself to a new Crossword Puzzle in Crossword Daily. Both games are automatically updated everyday with a new puzzle, so the fun never stops!
6 Months ago today, ArcadeThunder was born! We re-opened on July 19th with our old name 'Thunder Games", until we upgraded the site in September and renamed the site to "ArcadeThunder".
Over the last 6 months, we've released close to 50 games, and have had well over 6,000 game plays on over 150 FREE GAMES!
Thank You all of our players for making this a fun 6 months, and you can guarentee that we'll be celebrating our 1-year anniversary in another 6 months with something big!

ArcadeThunder has joined many other websites in "Going Dark" on Wednesday to tell US Congress to oppose SOPA and PIPA, which are two acts that would affect the World Wide Web not only for the US, but for everyone around the world. Sites such as Wikipedia and Reddit are completely down today, where as others such as us and Google are showing that we're against these acts in other ways. Please take the time visit this page on Google for more information, and to let Congress know: Don't Censor the Web!

As promised via our Facebook Page, Bubble Tanks 2 has arrived on the site! Similar to BT1, you must travel through giant bubbles, destroying enemy tanks and taking their bubbles to fuel your growth. As you grow, you constantly evolve and get ever better weapons. Ultimately, you'll have to face the ultimate adversary and defeat it to win the game.

Our updated game pages have a great feature, and that's the ability to rate games. All of our games are being upgraded to the new page format over time. The ratings are location below the actual game, on the left side of the page. We encourage you to rate our games as you play them on the site. We use ratings to determine what type of games we should add to the site. We try our best to add games that people will find popular, and the ratings for our current games will tell us the type of games that people like best.
Our games can only be rated once per IP address, meaning you can only rate the game from one computer on the network, rather it be in your home, a school, library, etc.
** Users who consistently vote 1 star on games will have their ratings deleted.
We are always open to ideas and suggestions, so if you really have an idea for a great game or a suggestion, be sure to E-Mail Us or visit our Forums.

Our first new games of 2012 have arrived!
Check out Battleship: The Beginning, which is a remake of the classic board game where you shoot at your opponents ships, and try to sink them all to win the game. This version comes with an upgraded theme, power ups, and more.
Our second new game is Romance of Rome. This is our first ever Hidden Object Game on ArcadeThunder! We are going to try and release more in the future. The game had 3 locations with several objects to find in each one.
This is not the type of announcement that we like to make, but unfortunately, we had to remove 8 of our games due to licensing issues. The games may return on the site in the future, if we settle an agreement with the game owners. Until then, we're looking for alternative games that are similar.
The games that were removed are: Slingo, Mega Jackpot Bingo, Super Keno, Mahjongg Dimensions, Spider Solitaire, Addiction Solitaire, Poker Classic, and Fish Bowling.
It's a shame to lose some popular games, but we will keep moving forward and you can expect many great games to come to the site in the near future!

Happy New Year!
As mentioned, the Holiday games are being removed tomorrow, January 2, 2012.
We have decided to NOT remove Deep Freeze. The game has been proven to be popular, and highly liked by our players. Since the game is more of a winter-themed game and not a Christmas-themed game, we've decided to keep it.
Go ahead, go play some more Deep Freeze!
